Our communities are joining together to spread their love for small local businesses! This includes the fundraiser’s as well.
Spring has not been cancelled at the greenhouse. Delivery dates have not changed, and we will be ready for when your delivery date comes.
Many customers are worried that we will not have the product available to ship once their delivery day comes. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Everything we grow we start from seedlings, plugs or roots that are already currently growing under our care.
The Manitoba Government has stated in THE PUBLIC HEALTH ACT (Section 67) under Agriculture and food production (Page 6, #24)."A business that supports the safety of food, including animal and plant health and animal well-being." that greenhouses are part of the essential services. We are still working hard to make sure that we will be ready for spring.
As a family run business, our staff are like our family. The health and safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority. We are adhering to the government regulations regarding personal safety. This means that our doors are temporarily closed to customers that want to browse our products so we can ensure that everyone goes home at the end of the day healthy and happy.
Gardening is a great way to spend time with your family outside and use it as a practical learning. It can be beneficial to your mental health as well by giving you the pride and satisfaction that you grew your own food, or successfully maintained your flowers all summer long.
It is amazing how quickly things can change in the world which is why we have to keep reminding ourselves that spring is still coming. Mother’s Day is still 6 weeks away and with what is happening now, this is lots of time considering what can happen in just 10 days.
