General Information: These self cleaning varieties are heavy feeders. The greenhouse applies a slow release fertilizer but these beauties still need weekly fertilizing to keep them blooming. In the heat of the summer, watering daily may be required. If the plants get straggly, trim back 20% of the branches to just below the pot. This leaves some longer branches but allows the trimmed branches to bush out and produce even more blooms.
