Pack Annuals

Each pack contains 6 plants. When determining how many plants you need and spacing of your annuals, it is a personal preference. Planting flowers closer together results in more coverage by the flowers. As a general rule, you can start with the following:

  1. Multiply the length by the width of your garden or planting area to get your square footage.
  2. Multiply the square footage by 4. This is the number of plants you will need for full coverage in your garden.
  3. Example: 5 foot length x 5 foot width = 25 square feet 25 square feet x 4 = 100 plants. If you want a border about 1/3 the depth of the bed, then purchase 33 plants of the border variety, and 67 of the center plant. Adjust the numbers to the closest number of full packs.
