Pack Annuals
Each pack contains 6 plants. When determining how many plants you need and spacing of your annuals, it is a personal preference. Planting flowers closer together results in more coverage by the flowers. As a general rule, you can start with the following:
- Multiply the length by the width of your garden or planting area to get your square footage.
- Multiply the square footage by 4. This is the number of plants you will need for full coverage in your garden.
- Example: 5 foot length x 5 foot width = 25 square feet 25 square feet x 4 = 100 plants. If you want a border about 1/3 the depth of the bed, then purchase 33 plants of the border variety, and 67 of the center plant. Adjust the numbers to the closest number of full packs.
