Hundres of blooms last until late fall to add color to any location. Choose from 4 colors, single pink, double yellow, double orange, or double red. Orders must be placed on the spring order form. Note: Not all groups are participating in the fall mum program. If the order form has the mums deleted, mums are not available through your group, but can be purchased at the greenhouse in the fall.
HANGING BASKETS
Hanging baskets are sold in 10 inch white plastic pots with a plastic hanger and an internal saucer. Each contain three to four pinched plants, depending on the variety. A slow release fertilizer is applied to the basket when it is shipped to help in the maintenance of the basket for the summer. You should however fertilize your basket weekly, since there are many plants in a confined area, with high demands on nutrients because of the blooms. Be sure to deadhead, that is remove finished blooms, at every watering. This is one way to keep the flowers blooming.
