Glenlea Greenhouses is currently looking to fill the following positions General Greenhouse Workers Duties include the following
Positions are full time/part time, Monday to Friday, from March to end of April, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Longer hours and availability on weekends and holidays required in May and June. The position requires some light lifting, standing for extended periods of time, and tolerance of the conditions of a greenhouse (hot and humid). Physical fitness is required due to the fast pace nature of the job and the environment conditions. We need team players with a willingness to learn as well as the ability to work independently. Candidates must be able to follow instructions an complete tasks precisely in time allotted. No previous experience necessary; we are willing to train suitable candidates. Delivery Personnel Duties include the following
Positions are full time/ part time, with various shifts including weekends and holidays. Position starts in April and extends to end of June. The position requires excellent physical fitness as you are responsible for loading of carts and plant material onto the trucks at the greenhouse and delivering to various locations in and around Winnipeg on a set schedule. Knowledge of plant material an asset, but not necessary. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and meet daily deadlines and delivery schedules. Must be able to work independently.
