Vegetables

Nothing tastes better than fresh vegetables from the garden. Plant vegetables in full sun to part sun locations and provide sufficient consistent irrigation for fruit development. For disease control, rotate the location of planting each year. Don't plant tomato plants where tomato or potato plants were planted the year before.

As indicated on the order form, plants are available in 6 packs or in individual 3.5 inch pots, and sometimes both. Fill your order form in carefully.

Patio Tomatoes

Patio Tomatoes are a two gallon staked tomato with fruit already on them. Have fressh tomatoes weeks before garden planted fruit. A specially bred slicing beefstead or cherry tomato just for containers. Leave it in it's container or pot it into a larger tub. Either way, enjoy tomatoes all summer long. Fertilize weekly and keep evenly moist to avoid black end rot.

Herbs

Grow herbs in full sun in a well drained location. Avoid overfertilizing. This results in larger leaves with less flavor. Most do not like being over watered. Let dry between irrigations. Harvest leaves just before blooming. This is when they have the most flavor. Trim flowers off as they appear. Pinch as required to keep plant compact.
